magentaI'm tired, but with good reason. I've been industrious today. Got groceries, cooked dinner, washed dishes, then mopped the kitchen floor. I was going to sort through papers, but I ran our of steam. I still might get to it a little bit. I have got to get more of a system for what to throw, what to file, etc. etc.
I seem to have more energy the last couple of days. I've been a bad girl - went off the blood pressure meds. That, and I have lost weight. Got to Curves yesterday. Today, I figure the chores were plenty of exercise.
I keep wanting to write something profound, but I can't think of anything. Looking at politics right now looks like staring into a tidal wave.
I could talk about the New Alexandria Library. We are having a fund-raiser March 1st, a Mardi Gras dance. I have to put posters in various coffee shops, but I need to go to the Library and pick up more. I gave a few to Tom to put at the Hard Times.
He stopped by the pick up a few things, and promise, once again, that he will build shelves real soon, and get his books out of my basement.
I HAVE to get rid of my couch in the next couple of weeks. I finally ordered the futon couch from Depth of Field. Spent too much money, probably. Got the drawers to go under it, since I figure I could use more storage space, but that added another $100 to it. If it lasts as well as the bed has, it will be worth it.
