For Rent

In Minneapolis.

The good news is, [livejournal.com profile] jenett has found a job!

The bad news, for me, is that it's in Maine, and she will be moving out.

The good news, for someone in the Twin Cities, is that the Little House in the Big City will be available August 1st.

It's tiny, suitable for one person who wants privacy. There is an alcove for the bed, a small kitchen, and a full bath with claw-foot bathtub. It's near two bus lines, and off-street parking is available.

If you are interested, comment, or email me at magenta dot mn at gmail.

To give you some idea of what it looks like:

I'll add here that it has been an awesome and cozy little house, and that Magenta is a great landlady. And I'm glad to answer questions, too. (jenettsilver at gmail)

I've been here for four years, and I wouldn't be leaving except for that job-in-new-place thing.

Which neighborhood are you in?

Longfellow. We're walking distance from Merlin's Rest.

My daughter is looking for a place that is convenient to the University of Minnesota area. I dont see any buses that don't involve going through downtown, so I don't think it will work. I will definitely pass the information along thoug.

It's not as convenient as when the #20 bus went to the West Bank, but the #9 runs to Franklin, where you can catch the #2 to the East Bank.

Yeah! It seemed like there was a bus that used to go from the Hiawatha area right to the U of M.

The big issue is that she's got a tenor saxophone to carry to Gopher Stadium, and she's trying to stay on one bus if she can. The search might expand and I will definitely keep it in mind.

oh a little house in the city!
it would be the opposite of a lake cabin
somewhere to crash with out having to put some one out
when we get to go back home?

the ultimate best thing? we'd have great neighbors!

I hope we win the lottery! before august first!
