What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .
well, not just one...
1. ...today?
filing for unemployment (done)
saw Return of the King, finally (done - it was glorious and I cried the whole way through)
getting a haircut (done)
2. ...over the next week?
Getting the New Alexandria Library moved, and at least partly unpacked. Deciding what writing project I'm going to get serious about while I'm unemployed. Sleeping late every day.
3. ...this year?
Writing at least one book. Getting a few articles or other pieces of writing published someplace OTHER than Llewellyn. Getting a new and hopefully more interesting job.
Decluttering the house, and starting some major house repairs if I can afford it.
4. ...over the next five years?
Getting at least a few books in print. Getting the house fixed up so we can sell it if we want or need to, or else live in it more comfortably. Traveling someplace new, maybe Europe.
5. ...for the rest of your life?
I don't usually think in those terms. I'll re-evaluate again in a year.
