Waiting, waiting
Nov. 4th, 2008 07:24 pmYour dear friend is sick. For eight years, you have watched her become sicker and sicker. Finally, today is the day they operate. You have done all you can to help. You will be there when she wakes up, if she wakes up. It is not kill or cure, but rather, will she get better or worse, though as with all operations, death is a possibility. You and many of her other friends are waiting to find out what has happened, what will happen. In the waiting room, you are all sitting, standing, reading, knitting, listening to music, praying. Some are watching the operation, but you cannot bear to watch. You have been told it will take many hours, perhaps all night. You will wait, you and all her friends, until the news comes.
Waiting.......
Waiting.......
