There is an excellent article in the current issue of the online magazine Strange Horizons, titled "Queerness in Heinlein's Stranger in a Stranger Land". It's somewhat dense and academic, but it has an interesting analysis of the book. I thought certain of my friends might be interested, especially those who were in CAW.

I'm intrigued... if I googled "Strange Horizons" would I find it? Or is there a link you can shoot me?

Love it! Thanks. I hadn't realized how postmodern his critique of societal norms was before.

I'm currently in a book discussion group for a book you might like - "Integral Spirituality", by Ken Wilber. He specifically addresses the problem of saying anything meaningful about religion in a framework where we recognize all of our religious constructions have historically been culturally determined. And he gets somewhere with it.
