magentaA forum on science and math for pagans and magicians meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month, at 7:30 pm, at Eye of Horus, 2717 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis. The next meeting will be June 26, and the topic this month is "The Wheel of the Year in Astronomy and Astrology." Solstice is just past – what is a solstice, anyway? For that matter, what are the equinoxes? In general, how well does modern astrology’s understanding of the sun’s motion agree with modern astronomy? We will discuss these and other topics.
