I just played a game of solitaire, and by doing so, did not work on the rituals for Llewellyn. I have nothing to show for the time I spent playing solitaire. This is a good things or a bad thing, depending on your point of view. I did not compete the writing, but it is witchcraft for dummies sort of project, you can't do a decent ritual in the space and format allotted. I have agreed to do the writing, so do it I will. (Besides, I need the money.) But while I did not honor that small obligation tonight, neither did I harm anyone. Or did I? I am using an ungoddessly amount of electricity. Alone in the house, a computer and four or five lights on.

We live in an action-oriented society. “What did you do?”, “What did you accomplish?” Not, “Who are you?”, never, “What do you value?” We assume the highest value is speech, not silence, the filling up, not the emptiness; this is the opposite of eastern traditions like Buddhism.

I have to remind myself of my path from time to time. Interesting, I originally had a typo in the previous sentence, remind myself of my oath. That, too, the oaths I made as an initiate, as a priestess, and even older ones. Incarnation is supposed to be fun, otherwise, why bother?

And I did write one more ritual. That makes five down, three to go. Plus three more articles.
