You list the "25 bands you've heard in concert". I don't know if I'll get up to 25.
Peter, Paul and Mary
Pete Seeger
Donovan
Country Joe and the Fish
Rhinoceros
The Fugs
The Blues Breakers, but I can't remember if Eric Clapton was with them at that point or not. It was in Feb, 1968, I think.
The Greatful Dead*
Jefferson Airplane
Frank Zappa
Charlie Daniels Band
Patti Smith (of "Horses" fame)
Rolling Stones
Machinery Hill
Boiled in Lead *
Cats Laughing *
The Flash Girls *
Indigo Girls - at Lilith Fair in 1999
Meredith Brooks - ditto
Sarah McLachlan - ditto
All the Pretty Horses*

The ones with a * by them are folks I've seen multiple times.

If anyone remembers being at a concert with me, and I've left off a band, please let me know. My mememory isn't what it used to me. Yes, I know I mispelled memory, but I think I've come up with a new word Meme-mory.

I am so lame that I could only come up with 11 bands that I've seen live. I could pop it up to 13 if I counted a couple of opening bands I'd never heard of before (or since). And I went to one show where I never really learned the band's name, so that doesn't particularly speak well for them.

I have to get out more.

Seeing Donovan is one of those things "I have to do before I die". I was in his fan club back in 1960's, the only such thing I ever joined. It was actually a poetry club, you had to send in a poem to get in. :-) Well, he's still singing and I'm still here, so I suppose it could happen. :-)
