I was in a contemplative and writing mood last night when we got home, but I was also too sleepy to bother. I hope I can remember some of it.

We went to a house concert by Riverfolk, Becca's group, at Jerry Corwin's. it was great fun. A number of fans I know were there. The music was mostly good, though I think they need more rehearsal on a few songs. Becca is turning into quite the songwriter. It was definitely middle-aged music - everyone at least in there 30's if not 40's and 50's. Boomer equivalent to Lawrence Welk will be old folkie stuff. We cut our musical ears on the Great Folk Music Scare, as Spider Robinson likes to put it. Many of us listened to Peter, Paul and Mary rather than do-wop rock. Anyway, it was a wonderful way to spend Saturday night.

I am so focused on the material plane stuff like de-cluttering the house that I have lost track of my spirituality. The New Alexandria Library is talking so much of my energy that I little left for anything - and I don't feel like I am doing all that I should. I'm not over there very often, I'm not doing the work. I just don't have much energy. And I don't know how to re-connect with my spiritual side. The problem of the priestess - provide spiritual experiences for everyone else, and nothing for yourself.
