The Little House in the Big City is available August 1st.
It's tiny, suitable for one person who wants privacy. There is a bedroom area, a living area, a small kitchen, and a full bath, complete with claw-foot bathtub. It's near two bus lines in the Longfellow neighborhood, walking distance from Merlin's Rest. Rent is $625 plus utilities.

Date: 2011-07-26 09:26 pm (UTC)No central AC, but I have an older window unit in the bedroom area that keeps the bedroom pleasantly cool (and the rest of the space variable.)
Heat is via a gas heater in the center of the space, and keeps things quite pleasant in the winter.
My gas bill runs around $60 on budget plan, give or take (keeping it about 67ish in the winter) and electric runs $30-55 depending on how much the AC is running (I run an air filter full time for allergies, which pushes it up a bit but am otherwise pretty moderate in terms of turning lights off, etc.)
I've been using Minneapolis wireless internet, which runs $25 a month for their lower MB plan, and which is generally reliable (though sometimes a little flaky in storms.)
