Roosevelt Library Renovation: Community Meeting
Community members of all ages are invited to learn about plans to renovate the Hennepin County Library – Roosevelt at a community meeting on Tuesday, June 14th, 7-9 p.m. at the Sibley Recreation Center, 1900 East 40th Street in Minneapolis.
Hennepin County Commissioner Peter McLaughlin (4th District), Minneapolis City Council Member Sandra Colvin Roy, Hennepin County staff and project designers will speak and answer your questions.
If you are not able to attend the first meeting, you are encouraged to share comments electronically on this site. Visioning questions will be posted after the first meeting. For more information see the project fact sheet or email Kelli Koob at kkoob@hclib.
They don't say this on the website, but this almost certainly means the library will be closed for one to two years, and the current building will probably be torn down.
