Northern Dawn Beltaine this Saturday
Statement of Intent: Let us take the time to dance in celebration of the new, join to clear the detritus of the past, open the way to magical union, and seed the future with the joys of positive change.
The ritual is on Saturday, May 9th. The location is Newell Park in St. Paul at the intersection of Pierce Butler Route and Fairview Avenue. Gather at 2pm, those who would like to be ritual drummers meet at 2:30pm, and ritual starts at 3pm.
Dress up and prepare to dance! There will be a Maypole and a Balefire. All are welcome (although this is not a children’s ritual we encourage children and teens to attend with supervision).
Preparations have been made for those with mobility issues. The site is handicapped accessible with no stairs. You may drive up to the building for dropoff, but please return your car to the parking lot.
Please bring: Drums and noise makers, voices for singing, wood for the fire, pot-luck, a symbol of your vision for the future for the altar, and a donation to pay for space. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but Northern Dawn encourages donations to help offset our expenses. Northern Dawn operates under the Covenant of the Goddess 501(c)3, so all monetary donations are tax-deductible.
