Chairs for our own
I'm sure Sinclair Lewis will get his chair. Laura Ingalls Wilder has one, but Wanda Gag doesn't.
The Minneapolis Public Library is raising money by selling the naming rights to chairs in the new Central Library auditorium. The money raised will go to buying books, as I understand it.

I'm posting this to both my personal LJ and the SF communities I'm in. These people have had their names listed, but no money contributed. I'd especially like to see people like Gordon Dickson get a chair. Could we have some sort of coordinated coampaign? I can't afford to contribute a lot, and they require a $50 minimum.
Poul Anderson
Lois McMaster Bujold
Steven Brust
Pamela Dean
Gordon R. Dickson
Thomas M. Disch
Kelly McCullough
Lyda Morehouse
Clifford D. Simak
Laurel Winter
Not listed, but we could add:
Eleanor Arneson
John M. Ford
Naomi Kritzer
Brought to my attention by
pegkerr, who has a chair, much to her amazement, but not to mine. She has written two outstanding books.
