Getting the hang of things
Jan. 5th, 2003 03:26 pmI think I've finally gotten the hang of the basics here. I like the way my posts look; I would like to tinker with the colors a bit, but that can wait. I have the offline program working, but I deleted the test messages.
Now I need to find out the local netiquete, when is it okay to do what, etc.
I wish I could figure out how to get some exercise today. Vertical, I mean. Curves isn't open on Sundays, and it's too nasty and icy to walk. I was hoping Tom would come over and help me set up the weight bench again. And maybe get some of these boxes out.
Ricky loaned me his cell phone to make reservations for SuperCon, and I tried Tam as long as it was free. (He has unlimited weekends.) But she is in Columbus, house-hunting, though Dave thinks they found something.
Such a mobile culture. Friends moving hither and yon, and I've been in the same house for 16 years. Of course, I *DREAD* the idea of sorting and packing and moving my tons o' shit.
Today is better than yesterday, so I'm not complaining.
